We're a ballsy, innovative bike company creating the best value city bikes in the world, with a direct sales model that allows us to create lasting relationships with our riders. In this fascinating role, you will be in charge of growing our retail network of VanMoof stores as well as expanding our B2B sales through clever partnerships.
As of April 2018, we'll have 9 stores across 8 countries and 3 continents. These stores will challenge the definition of traditional retail by adding a world-class, inspiring yet human store experience to match our best-in-class bikes. The purpose of our B2B program, meanwhile, is to help VanMoof scale faster and to build valuable brand partnerships. You'll identify, convert and maintain B2B partnerships in collaboration with our Europe and USA B2B Managers.
Deliver a best-in-class level of customer satisfaction and brand experience
Deliver on revenue and conversion objectives for every VanMoof store
Build a high performing global team of stores, leaving room for local empowerment
Build a bridge to the e-commerce team to ensure that the customer journey between stores and website is seamless
Develop a B2B strategy, with guidance on when we are proactive vs reactive
Ensure ongoing relationships are managed effectively with all B2B customers, and build a funnel to maximize re-purchasing
Seek new strategic sales partnerships (ie, residential development companies who offer a bike to every apartment buyer)
- Minimum 7 years sales experience in retail and ideally also B2B
- Minimum 5 years management experience -- you're a genuine people leader
- Entrepreneurial spirit -- you're able to spot a (big) opportunity and make it happen
- Excellent spoken and written English, with bonus points for Dutch/Japanese/German/French/Danish
- Available for international travel

You’ll need to be as stubbornly focused as we are.
We do more with less here. But everything we do should have a commercial lens to it, and it’ll be your job to make that happen.
And you'll need to be damn inventive.
We don't just want someone who can tick the boxes, we're looking for someone that can solve problems of all sizes, lean into the chaos, and help us get better every day. We're growing like crazy, so you'll also need the patience of a saint and the persistence of a bulldog. Things move fast here.
