Junior Supply Chain Spider(wo)man

Are you the organizational genius with the spidey senses

to navigate the complex web of our supply chain?

We’re a ballsy bike company looking to change the way the world thinks about owning—and buying—bikes. Our supply chain is pretty damn international...

...because we design and develop all our bikes in-house. We manufacture our parts in Asia and Europe, assemble them in the Netherlands, and sell our bikes online and in our flagship stores on 3 continents. The operations and supply chain is run by our teams in Taiwan and Amsterdam, and our warehouse in De Meern is the beehive where everything comes together.

There are a lot of moving parts.

It takes close coordination with customer service, purchasing, manufacturing, warehouse, and quality departments as well as our assembly and shipping partners. We need someone to monitor product availability and stock turn-around, so that we can win with on-time deliveries to our customers and flagship stores.

As Supply Chain Planner, you'll keep a hawk's eye on our supply chain—from manufacturing, ordering, and replenishment all the way down to shipping, fulfillment and in-store and online sales.

As our full-time planner, you'll join our operations team in Amsterdam, but also make frequent visits to our De Meern warehouse and assembly partners. You will:

  • Interact with suppliers, warehouse, assembly and shipping partners, stores and internal departments
  • Actively manage the flow of goods for store and DC replenishment of bikes, parts and assembly partners
  • Initiate manufacturing and assembly orders
  • Tackle and resolve customer backlog issues
  • Monitor and resolve issues around manufacturing, assembly, replenishment and purchase orders
  • Participate in and lead projects

The Supply Chain Spider(wo)man we're looking for has:

  • MBO/HBO education in the field of supply chain or logistics
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • Supply chain planning experience preferred
  • ERP and supply chain management systems experience preferred
  • Analytical, hands-on and pragmatic
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Affinity with bicycle production and assembly (not required, but a plus)

In return, we offer:

  • A spot in our friendly and super ambitious team
  • The tools you need to do your job well, including a phone, laptop and a spiffy VanMoof of your own while you're here
  • Insider experience in a young, rapidly-growing international company, with a lot of opportunity for personal growth

Sound good? Even if you don't hit all the points above but feel like you'd be a good fit, we'd love to chat. Click the button below and let's get this party started!
