Are you the entrepreneurial leader who'll get our first store 

in France rolling with a bang?


We're a ballsy, innovative bike company looking for someone to lead the charge in our brand new store in Paris (opening April 2018). You're an inspirational people-leader with world-class communication skills and an unstoppable entrepreneurial drive. 

As Store Manager, you'll have the exciting responsibility of introducing France to our brand and our bikes. How will you do this? With your knack for creating an unforgettable store experience, your vision to motivate your team to new heights of customer service, and a good bit of flair, of course. 

Your key responsibilities

Hire, train, and lead a dream team of world-class salespeople and bike doctors, then keep them focused on their superpowers--whether that be repairing bikes ahead of schedule, or selling bikes like hot cakes. 

Understand the local market and suggest ideas for how we can surprise and delight our riders, anytime and anywhere (in France). 

Lead by example when it comes to sales. You'll be spending 90% of your time on the shop floor demonstrating to your team how to build great customer relationships and turn them into bike sales, but once you've built an amazing team that'll drop to 75%.

Establish our Paris store as the 'embassy' for all things VanMoof in France by collaborating with marketing on social media, partnerships, events and your own brilliant ideas for how we get more bums on bikes.

Make sure every corner of the store looks gorgeous, and work with the Global Creative Team to make it a little bit better every week.

Keep the global team updated on your team's biggest wins, and also any roadblocks that could get in the way of you and your team achieving your sales targets. 

Turn our global sales forecast into an actionable (and inspirational) plan for your team that take our conversion and revenue numbers to the next level in our brand store.

The retail visionary we're looking for has

  • Retail experience at assistant or manager level
  • Minimum 2 years people-management experience
  • World-class communication skills, in both French and English
  • An unstoppable get-shit-done entrepreneurial spirit
