USA Brand Manager

We're looking for a marketing guru with entrepreneurial spirit, to help us grow our business in the United States, starting with New York.


You're a world-class marketeer and entrepreneurial leader with buckets of enthusiasm and do-it-yourself spirit. We're an innovative bike company looking for someone like you to make us famous - first in New York, and after that the United States.

Key responsibilities:

First and foremost, you'll be creating momentum for our brand in the USA. At times that'll mean collaborating with the Global Marketing team,  but you'll also have a large degree of autonomy to make world-class (and on-brand) partnerships, PR, customer magic and content happen.

We want you to build the kinds of brand partnerships that expand our reach and impact in New York and beyond, and sales partnerships that result in fantastic B2B deals.

Earned Media
You'll  be pitching US-focused ideas and content to our Global Team that we can use in social media, so we can grow our following in the USA. You'll also be telling our stories to both local and US-wide press and, and often acting as the face for the brand in the stories they tell about us.

Brooklyn Brand Store
You'll ultimately be responsible of how our Brand Store looks, feels and sells, transforming it into a brand ‘embassy’ that offers memorable experiences, test rides, collaborations, support, and events. You'll be tasked with hiring and managing a fantastic sales team and unparalleled crew of bike doctors team to make it happen. 

We'll expect you to use your experience and our data to help us set the annual USA sales forecast (for both online and offline), then over deliver on it, and keep the global team updated on your progress and flag any roadblocks to us hitting our targets.

Customer Experience
We want you to take our customer service offering in the US to the next level, across all our support touch points - email, phone and social media. You'll need to understand the local market and pitch ideas for how we can surprise and delight our riders, as well as escalating any potential issues so they don’t become disasters for our customers and our brand!

You'll need to have:

Minimum of 3 years brand-building experience, with a side of people-management experience

- Bachelor in Marketing or Business

- World-class communication skills

- A willingness to travel (80% domestic)
